My mother since she has cared for me so much throughout my life. She has instilled in me the importance of giving back to the community however I can. I try to follow what she has taught me every day and contribute as much as possible to help others. I also seek to improve myself so I can help out more.
People think I can't see without glasses :)
The cinema since I love to explore new worlds and discover new things.
My music collection since it keeps me motivated and helps me relax.
Honesty is the best policy.
I would try to watch some comedy movie or show like Impractical Jokers and hug my parents.
I'm excited by events like Charity Runs that encourage public health, motivate people to take care of their wellbeing, and participate in community building activities e.g. run clubs. These events motivate me greatly and I try to contribute as much as I can.
HIM has allowed me to support my community in new ways and assist its mission to promote public health and wellness, plus service to help others. It's been great working with HIM to aid events like the SF Marathon and Giant Race, and I've been motivated by the runners who participate as well as my fellow volunteers. I am inspired by HIM as it helps to bring people together towards a common goal and is actively involved in the community.
The HIM Internship Program has helped me build upon my leadership skills and further my understanding of HIM as an organization. It's been incredible to learn more about how HIM is structured and operates, allowing it to help out so many people at major events like marathons. I've enjoyed expanding my knowledge of how HIM works and am keen to contribute to the organization based on the skills I've learned. Overall, the HIM Internship Program is an awesome experience and has greatly benefited me.
Don't look for shortcuts. Treat others as you would expect to be treated yourself. You win some, you lose some. When the going gets tough, the tough get going. Slow and steady wins the race.
I would like to be remembered for innovation and for giving back to my community.
