I think I would get rid of all diseases/illnesses. People suffer and die from diseases everyday. It’s a terrible thing to experience, whether you’re the one to have the disease or the one who’s losing their loved one. Cancer is a disease that can cause a lot of pain and harm to your body. Life would be so much better if it didn’t exist.
My ideal way to the spend the weekend is to spend it with my best friend. I’ve known him since last year, and we’ve met through HIM!! We would go to the gym bright and early in the morning, and then spend the rest of the day at his place. I love spending time with him, even if we’re doing absolutely nothing. Just his presence makes me feel so happy.
I would love to be a bakery owner. Even though I’m not the best at baking at the moment, I’d love to learn how to get better and create my own recipes, so I can share my delicious treats with everyone. Little things like food can make someone’s day, which is what I’d love to do. I hope that one day, I’ll be able to give back to my community and the people I love, with sweets to brighten up their mood.
If I could only eat one food for the rest of my life, I’d probably choose pho. Pho is my favorite food ever - it’s filling, savory, and delicious. It has a yummy broth to quench my thirst, tasty noodles for grain, and juicy meat for protein. It is just the perfect dish, and something that I will never get tired of.
The most valuable lesson I’ve learned is to never give up. Most of the time, you will succeed if you try your very hardest. If you don’t, it’s okay because mistakes happen, and we learn from our mistakes. Most famous people are where they are right now because of the work that they put in, so like them, we need to persevere and try our best.
I enjoy helping others, even if it means I have to get up earlier than I usually do. Even though all I do is pass out water, snacks, or put away bags, it can help the people around me a lot. I’ve always been a people pleaser my whole life, so taking the load off of someone’s shoulder makes me feel like a better person. Another thing that motivates me are the hours I’m going to earn during the event, haha!!
An event that I most looked forward to was the Berkeley event. I heard that there was a bus that would take us there, which sounded really fun. It was also the second time meeting my friend’s friends. It did live up to my expectations, the bus was fun to ride on, and the event went wonderfully. I also got closer to those friends!!
My experience working with Heart In Motion has been great. Everyone has been so very sweet. My TC’s have been super helpful as well. Overall, my experiences with HIM have been nothing but fun!
Heart In Motion has helped me make new friends and meet new people. If it wasn’t for HIM, I wouldn’t have met some of my best friends. It has helped me to see how fun it can be to volunteer. I’ve also been able to complete my volunteer hours, thanks to HIM!!
