I use YouTube a lot! From personal enjoyment to education, I think YouTube can actually be useful. I spend my time on YT watching cooking shows, education videos, gaming, etc. It’s one of my favorite pastimes.
My dad is one of my biggest role models. His kindness and hospitality towards people truly inspires me to show that same humanity to others around me. Throughout his life, he’s helped out others in need without hesitation. Seeing this, he’s inspired me to show to same kind-heartedness to others.
I could spend an eternity strolling the streets of Japan! I love the atmosphere, culture, and most of all the food! Japan is a beautiful country full of places with action, great food, tranquility, and much more. It never gets boring there!
Most people think I have a bland sense of fashion, but in actuality, I’m just lazy to dress myself nicely most of the time. When I go to school, I often choose comfort over style. However, times when I actually choose to dress nicely, I can pull together a pretty nice outfit.
I’d make sure I told my family and friends how much I care for them. I wouldn’t want to live this earth without them thinking I just disappeared. Fun fact: I used to be terrified of the thought of death — of myself and the ones I care for most. I’d cry thinking about it, but I learned it’s something no one can avoid. Therefore, it’s best to just live life to the fullest!
Although I’m embarrassed to admit it, I can’t be away from my phone too long before getting antsy. Thinking about it, I use my phone a ton! From games, work, entertainment, and more, I use my phone a lot. Despite this, I try to take breaks from it to make sure I don’t get addicted.

Personally, I enjoy waking up early anyway, but I see volunteer events as fun, so I really don’t mind waking up early.
Joining HIM is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. It has given me the opportunity to contribute to my community. It inspires me within and gives me a purpose to help others. Through HIM, I’ve met and worked with so many great people. Volunteering at events is actually fun too! You get to meet new friends and gain some great experience!
HIM Internship is a gateway to so many new opportunities. I learned how work with many useful apps, gained useful leadership experience, and met so many great people. I think it’s a wonderful opportunity, especially if you aren’t doing much in life right now. It really inspires you to work hard and teaches you some very valuable skills.
1. Don’t die before the round starts
I want to be remembered for the way I treat others and the impact I leave on my community. One quote I love is by Maya Angelou: “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” This quote really reminds me how important showing kindness is to people. They won’t remember what you say or do to them most of the time, but they will remember what you did to them.
