Events Junior Coordinator

Deadlines honestly motivates me the most because I can have an idea of how urgent things are.
I think it's really important to build character because it makes you unique and stand out (in a good way!)
My current HIM position is events department senior coordinator and my responsibilities are to upload waivers, do reminder calls and inform people about their waiver dues. Officers within out department are split into separate groups and works are assigned within the groups.
I would probably eat banana (no it's not my favorite fruit) because it's really tasty and hard to get tired of.
Being part of HIM leadership crew is like a being part of a big family, people within our department feel connected and work together. Collaborating with other members of the department is a really good way of connecting with them and make friends.
HIM is a big part of my life. I've met countless friends first through the internship and then the various volunteer events. It helped me develop my communication skills with all kinds of people and I had many beneficial experiences working with people in HIM. In the end, all of these skills I gained and people I met makes it feel very rewarding.
Heart In Motion is a great organization where you can develop new skills in leadership and managing an organization, it definitely had a huge impact on me and I think you should definitely join! Come learn stuff and do community service while making lots of friends!
