Always check up on your friends—or even strangers. Whenever people are going through difficult times, they'd want (and need) reassurance, especially from their closest friends. Without support from the people they trust the most, who else can they rely on? Not everyone is lucky enough to receive the support they need so even the smallest acts of kindness can make someone's day or save someone's life.
I have yet to experience an event with HIM, but I would wake up early to the idea that I can help out the community and help others out. I want to be someone who can positively impact the lives of others because everyone and everything deserves to live in bliss and with happiness.
HIM has been a source of productivity during this school year. Due to the current circumstances, there aren't many efficient/effective learning opportunities. So far, HIM has helped me with organization in several aspects of my life and I can't wait to see what else I can learn from this organization.
The HIM Internship Program has definitely defied my expectations. Whether in terms of organization or education, the amount of time which it took to build HIM to this point must have created a lot of stress for the organizers. Despite the age differences and age range within the members of this program, everyone displays a high level of maturity and professionalism.
Simple rules such as: "There's always another route to take." and "Always keep an Ace card in your back pocket." are essentials when playing games. While crass, they can be efficient in times of need. Obviously, there's a guidebook that comes with the game, but sometimes, using loopholes to one's advantage is the most basic rule there is.
I don't really have the ability to majorly impact people so being remembered as someone who was their friend, someone who was there for them in times of difficulties, or even someone who existed at all in their story would be enough. I want to be remembered as someone who always seems free while living; no restraints, just pure ecstasy/浮世 (ukiyo). My influence on people may not be grand nor inspiring but I hope the impressions I make are special enough to be remembered.
