A lot of things motivate me, so that's a pretty hard question to answer. I think my family motivates me the most because I know that they will be here for me whenever I need it. Because of this, I want to work even harder and get into a good college so that they can feel proud and at ease. And after college, I hope to make a sufficient amount of money to provide for my parents and to be able to live on my own.
I think it is very important to build character. In order to become a better version of yourself, you must build character because not everyone is perfect. Building character is also very important because it helps you learn from your mistakes. Your character is also important in being able to achieve goals, get along with others, and build confidence.
I am an Executive Assistant and an acting PM. As an EA, I take on tasks to help directors in all departments. As an acting Internship PM, I shadow other PMs and practice doing PM tasks. I mostly do a lot of monitoring for Train the Trainer meetings, lessons, and mentoring meetings. During these meetings, I would provide my feedback in hopes to help another person become better at something specific.
The most valuable lesson that I have learned is that things don't come easy. You have to work hard to get your desired results. I've experienced this quite a few times in my life and one great example would be school. At school, you can't expect to do well in your classes if you don't put effort in. And even if your results aren't good, you can't help it. You can only learn from there and keep working harder. Taking a step in a direction is better than going the easy way out.
This is a very hard question because I love food. I'm not much of a picky eater so I think I can survive on only eating one food, but still, I love trying new foods. I would probably choose to eat noodle soup for the rest of my life because I don't think I'll get bored of it. Also, I love soup.This is a tough question! I love so many foods! But I love pasta slightly more than all the other foods, so really I would be willing to eat any pasta for the rest of my life. But right now, I am really digging this dish called curry udon. It has all of the elements in it: produce, protein, spice, and noodles! You should try it sometime :)
I feel like I am an important part of this organization. I am also super grateful for this opportunity because I get to learn a lot about myself as well as help others. This organization involves a lot of teamwork. Because of this, I feel a sense of belonging because there are lots of people in this group that have my back. I love how this communities allows everyone to voice out their own opinions and support each other.To be part of the Leadership Crew is really inspiring. Before this year, I've never seen so many youth run such an organized and successful organization! I've learned a lot from the people I've been around. Many experienced members of HIM Leadership have given me valuable advice that has helped me improve my presentation and management skills. We Leadership Officers lead each other by example, and we help each other when things get tough. One thing that has thoroughly impressed me about Leadership is the kindness of all of the Officers and Interns. I have made many friendships virtually in HIM that I would have never made otherwise. It's really something to be part of an organization where everyone is on your side!
HIM has a huge impact on my life. I've become a more outspoken and outgoing. Before joining Leadership, I remember being scared to talk in front of groups of people and share my opinions. But I joined HIM, I've learned how to better communicate with other people and become more confident. Overall, I think it's been a really great learning experience and I am still learning a lot more!Before I joined HIM in Summer 2020, I had never really been able to focus on my management and presentation skills. HIM has given me an opportunity to really reflect on my tendencies in presenting and leading, and improve on them. For example, I learned that in order to be an effective leader/presenter, you have to be decisive. Even if you have made a mistake, don't doubt yourself for it. I have had issues with this in the past, but since I have started HIM, I have become more confident. Secondly, within HIM I have made multiple friendships that I would never have made otherwise. Especially during quarantine, HIM has been an amazing way to be a part of a community and be productive at the same time.
I would suggest you to try it out! There are a lot of things you can learn in the Leadership program, such as communication skills, organization skills, and of course, leadership skills. Leadership is also a place where you can meet lots of new people. There aren't any disadvantages to trying new things. Additionally, you can possibly discover things that you genuinely enjoy doing.
