Pretend to be a ghost and "fly" around, then run around the neighborhood since no one can see me (and hopefully not hear me panting at the end of it).
Helping others and exploring the universe would be my main ambitions for anything, so I would like to discover the root of world poverty or disease and find a permanent "ethical" solution, since simply wishing away global warming or other big issues may not completely abolish the causes of it and it'll be a waste.
Wake up refreshed, stretch and either walk around a place in SF I haven't been to or go stand-up paddle boarding and play video games with friends or family at night.
If "fruit" counts as a category, then I'd choose it since I'd have a variety to choose from and how to prepare it. If I'd have to choose a specific food item, then I'd choose tofu since it is very versatile and I can hopefully cook it in different ways to not get sick of it.
Put yourself in others' shoes. Understanding multiple perspectives of a certain situation helps me focus on a problem and work towards a solution benefitting every party without escalation--though I do not always stay collected at times. My apologies.
Any job I would have an interest in, like physics, engineering or computer science. Or, being a teacher could be nice--teaching others about the world and helping them pursue their interests as well.
If I signed up for an opportunity I shall be present at that event shouldn't I? Also it'd be best not to disturb my family at 4am on a Saturday.
I looked forward to all the events I signed up for, and I'd be happy to participate and help when needed. Most events did live up to expectations as I was able to assist the event coordinators in any way and was satisfied when the event was deemed a success. The Hot Chocolate Run was pretty fun though.
I appreciate the organization of logging hours and event coordination on the HIM website, and the events themselves were organized well for the volunteers' jobs. I'd say that there is a fairly long wait for assignments before the running events, the weather is fairly cold and there wouldn't be shelter (based on a few events I have been to, not all though), but I definitely should've brought more layers to the event. The consent form stating how HIM is not liable for the volunteers' actions (not the exact wording but that was the impression I got from reading it) is a little concerning though.
I have become more open to volunteering and giving back to my community in more ways than one since joining HIM. I also have been introduced to many events happening around my neighborhood and in San Francisco that I was unaware of, and appreciate the opportunities HIM has given me to explore more about my city.
