If I became invisible right now I probably wouldn’t do much to be honest. I wouldn’t want to leave the house because of the pandemic. A thing I would definitely do though is panic and probably think something super bad was happening. After I calmed down I’d try to figure out how I became invisible. The ten minutes would most likely be over by then and I would be back to normal.
If I had the power to change one thing in the world I would definitely advance our knowledge and technical abilities by at least a few hundred years. This would provide a ton of benefits to everyone since we would probably have the ability to solve many of the problems the world faces now. We could end the pandemic in a few days and find a way to generate more energy more efficiently and without harming the world. The technological advancement would help solve our food shortages and global warming while also advancing every aspect of our life.
The ideal way to spend my weekend would be to finish all the work that’s been stressing me out. After that I would spend time with my family and enjoy the outside for a bit. Then I’d catch up on all the shows I’ve missed and read a few books that I hadn’t finished yet. Really my ideal weekend is to enjoy life to the fullest and help out my family since they’re always working so hard.
The most valuable lesson I learned in my short seventeen years of living so far is that in order to do well, you need to understand yourself. I learned that lesson just before entering high school. Everyone says that you just need to work hard or have the passion to succeed but all of that only comes once you understand your own personality and mind. Once you are able to really think deeply on your actions and understand why you do things then you will be able to live a life that you like.
I’ve really enjoyed working with Heart in Motion. I can see that this organization is full of people who truly enjoy helping out and interacting with other people. Every event I volunteered at was well managed and fun to participate in because of my fellow volunteers who worked hard to make sure everything ran smoothly. My experience with HIM has been enjoyable and I definitely want to continue helping out.
You know those people who you see all the time but never really talk to them? Well they can become great friends if you just interact with them. HIM was able to help me create so many new friendships with people I just met or those who I never really talked to. Friendships formed through working together and helping each other are stronger and deeper than many other types of bonds. HIM gave me the opportunity to form lasting connections and I’m really thankful for that.
